Building a D2C Shopify Store and Its First Sales Engine
A new D2C wellness and home-fragrance brand needed two things at the same time: a store that made buying easy and a steady flow of the right shoppers. NWSPL designed and developed the Shopify store, then paired it with product-led Meta campaigns.
A store and a sales engine, built together.
The brand offered herbal essential oils, hair care, diffusers and fragrances for the home, wardrobe, car and office. The goal was to create a polished D2C storefront while making the first paid campaigns measurable enough to identify which products and audiences deserved more budget.
The supplied project material describes the store as designed and developed end to end on Shopify, with Meta campaigns planned alongside the store rather than treated as a separate activity.
Designed to move shoppers from browsing to buying.
The store architecture focused on clear collections, visible offers, product confidence and fewer steps between discovery and purchase.
- Four clear product collections covering hair care, diffusers & burners, home/car/wardrobe fragrance and pure essential oils.
- Offers and sale pricing were surfaced directly on product cards.
- Add to Cart and Buy Now actions gave shoppers faster purchase paths.
- Gift-by-budget collections made Under ₹500, ₹1000 and ₹1500 products easier to browse.
- Ratings, customer reviews, policies, newsletter and WhatsApp support added reassurance throughout the store.
Built around products customers could try easily.
Selected visuals from the supplied case-study material show the entry-price product strategy and the reported first-month performance.

One product line. One focused ad set.
- Four campaigns and five ad sets were structured around individual product lines.
- The car hanging pod campaign launched first at ₹200 daily and became the volume driver.
- Hair-care campaigns tested rosemary and hair-serum products.
- An oil-diffuser campaign was introduced as a fresh interest-audience test.
- Separate ad sets made product-level cost and purchase performance easier to compare and optimize.
123 purchases in the first 28 days.
The figures below are taken directly from the supplied NWSPL case-study material.
Scale what works. Fix what doesn't.
- The car hanging pod generated 65 purchases, 53% of total purchases, at ₹104.48 per purchase.
- The oil diffuser delivered the strongest efficiency at ₹66.53 per purchase and 18 purchases in its first week.
- The blended ₹117.72 cost per purchase sat below the ₹399–₹499 sale prices of the core products.
- Hair care recorded ₹170.59 per purchase, creating a clear opportunity for fresh creative and offer testing.
Project figures and observations are reproduced from the supplied NWSPL case-study material. This public portfolio page keeps the presentation focused on the work, strategy and reported outcomes.
Build on the winning signals.
- Increase budget on the strongest product ad sets while efficiency holds.
- Refresh hair-care creatives and test the serum offer.
- Use gift-by-budget collections for festive and seasonal campaigns.
- Add retargeting and purchase-value reporting for a fuller ROAS view.
